I view stewardship and kindness towards all people I work with as the ethical foundation for academic leadership. Throughout my nearly two decades as a faculty member and administrator, I have worked to uphold these values through inclusive hiring practices, equitable mentoring and evaluation, proactive student support, and intentional efforts to build an academic environment where all individuals are able to thrive and feel valued
